Always, Sometimes, Never - Fractions

During the session last week we looked at some of the misconceptions and issues surrounding fractions, decimals and percentages.

We only managed to scratch the surface but the discussions that took place were excellent.




I have used these types of activities with pupils and it really helps to consolidate their understanding. I love it when pupils start arguing about Maths and it is very important to pick up on any incorrect answers/misconceptions and explore these fully with the group.

We even had a few debates between the trainees about some of the statements.
