Try this game with pupils at Maths Club!

Who likes to play noughts and crosses? I certainly do but it is usually over very quickly. Here is a more complicated version that gets you thinking....

You start off with a grid like this




You take it in turns to place your symbol in one of the smaller grids.

You keep playing until you win a smaller grid. This means that you take this grid. The overall winner is the person to get three symbols in a row (in the larger grid). 

I found this a really challenging but fun game, try it!
